Blockmetric RPC
Read and call blockchains from your code over standard JSON-RPC, HTTPS and WebSocket: 8 EVM chains and HyperCore, plus 3 testnets. Works with viem, ethers, web3.py, wallets, Hardhat and Foundry.
API or RPC?
API: market data
- What it is
- Blockmetric’s own market intelligence: liquidation heatmaps, liquidations, whales and positions, funding, open interest, order flow, sentiment and news.
- What you get
- JSON over REST, a live event stream and signed webhooks, with OpenAPI 3.1 and copy-paste examples.
- Typical uses
- Trading bots, dashboards, research, apps that show market data.
- Authentication
- An API key (bm_live_…) in the Authorization header, from your server. Never in a URL.
RPC: blockchain access
- What it is
- Direct access to 12 networks: balances, contract state, eth_call, logs, blocks and subscriptions. Read-only for now: sending transactions opens later.
- What you get
- Standard JSON-RPC over HTTPS and WebSocket. Works with viem, ethers, web3.py, wallets, Hardhat and Foundry.
- Typical uses
- dApps, wallets, bots that act on-chain, indexers.
- Authentication
- An endpoint token (bmr_…) in the URL or the Authorization header, limited to chains, origins and IPs.
How an endpoint looks
One URL per chain: https://rpc.blockmetric.io/<chain>/<token>, or the chain URL with the token in an Authorization header.
Create a token
On your RPC dashboard, as soon as what you need is open. One token works on every open chain.
Paste the URL
Into ethers, viem, web3.py, Hardhat, Foundry or a wallet. HTTPS for calls, WSS for subscriptions.
Watch your usage
Credits, requests per second, latency and errors per chain on your dashboard. E-mails at 80% and 100%.
curl -s https://rpc.blockmetric.io/eth/$BLOCKMETRIC_RPC_TOKEN \

We open each chain, region and plan when enough teams ask for it. Join the waitlist for exactly what you need, and we e-mail you the moment it opens.
Regions
Chains
12 networks, each on request. All chains and their state
Not offered yet
Also on the waitlist: 60 more chains, such as Robinhood Chain, Solana and Bitcoin, and 40 features, such as webhooks, streams and smart wallets. Not available yet. On the waitlist: we build it once enough teams ask. Request a chain or feature
Plans
- Global plans Pay per use on every open chain and region. Free to start, then from $49 a month.
- Dedicated throughput A fixed rate on one chain in one region, flat price, from $199 a month.
- Dedicated node Isolated infrastructure with an SLA by contract, price on request per chain and region.
What you get
- One account, two productsThe same Blockmetric account for RPC and the market-data API. Every account gets a free API key.
- HTTPS and WebSocketJSON-RPC 2.0, batches of up to 100 calls (Free: 20), eth_subscribe for new heads and logs, with gap handling after reconnects.
- Failover built inHealth checks on every upstream node, automatic failover for reads, one node per account for 30 s for consistent results.
- Archive and tracesArchive data on every plan. Trace and debug methods on the paid plans; single-transaction traces on every plan.
- Token controlsLimit each endpoint token to chains, browser origins and IP addresses. Rotate it with one click.
- Usage you can checkCredits per chain and day, latency measured by our gateway, and recent errors on your dashboard.

Questions
When does a chain, region or plan open?
We open each chain, region and plan when enough teams ask for it, not on a fixed date. Join the waitlist for exactly what you need, and we e-mail you the moment it opens.Join the waitlist
Which chains can I use?
Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum One, OP Mainnet, Polygon PoS, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche C-Chain, HyperEVM, HyperCore (info API), plus the testnets Sepolia, Base Sepolia, Arbitrum Sepolia. Every Global plan includes every open chain, and a call costs the same on every chain. All chains and what is open
Can I ask for a chain or feature you do not offer?
Yes. The waitlist lists 60 more chains, such as Robinhood Chain, Solana and Bitcoin, and 40 features, such as webhooks, streams and smart wallets. None of them is available yet: we build what enough teams ask for, and we e-mail you if it opens.Request a chain or feature
Which regions are there?
Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (London), US East (Virginia), US East (Ohio), US Central (Chicago), US West (Oregon), South America (São Paulo), Asia (Tokyo), Asia (Singapore), Asia (Hong Kong), Asia (Seoul), Australia (Sydney). Each opens when enough teams ask for it. A Global plan token works in every open region through one global endpoint; each region also has its own host to pin it. Dedicated throughput can move to another open region at any time.
May I put the token in the URL?
Yes. Endpoint tokens are made for URLs, because wallets, Hardhat and Foundry only take a URL. Limit a token to chains, origins or IP addresses and rotate it anytime. Blockmetric data-API keys never go into a URL.
Can I send transactions?
Not yet. Blockmetric RPC starts read-only. Sending signed transactions is built and opens after our legal review. We never hold keys.
What do you log?
Counts per chain and method, never request bodies or parameters. Access logs keep shortened IP addresses for 7 days. Details are in the privacy policy.Privacy policy
Good to know
- Read-only for now: no transaction sending yet, no signing, no mempool.
- No SLA on the plans booked online. Support by e-mail, 1–2 business days.
