Summary
On 2025-12-24 a malicious build of the Trust Wallet browser extension was published to the Chrome Web Store outside the normal release process, and attackers drained 2,520 wallet addresses of approximately $8.5 million in assets. Trust Wallet said it would voluntarily reimburse affected users.
