Summary
On 2023-09-12 CoinEx detected anomalous withdrawals from several hot wallets, which it preliminarily traced to a leaked hot wallet private key; the losses included 231 BTC and 4,953 ETH among many other assets. CoinEx said user assets were not affected and its User Asset Security Foundation would bear the losses.
